based in Cornwall, I travel in the U.K and abroad teaching and working on basketry projects.

My workshop is at Salt Cellar Workshops, Porthleven, Cornwall- where a number of artists and artisans work alongside each other on two floors of open studios and showrooms overlooking the harbour.
I've been weaving in 3 dimensions since making my first basket in the early 80's, continuously exploring and experimenting with various techniques and materials.
Work produced can be of any size- the Welcome Entrance Arch to Latitude Festival is made from loosely woven, paper covered, willow daisies and spans over 30ft., whilst the fingertraps on the cover photo above are a few inches long.
Materials used vary from traditional and natural weaving materials- willow, cane, bamboo- to stainless steel wire rope, copper wire and recycled cable.
Salt Cellar Workshops are open to the public every afternoon including weekends, I'm not always at work so it's best to telephone if you need to speak to me.
