The BIG Christmas Sing! in December 2015 was a great success, for the last minute idea of a local man wanting to see more free community events! Following on from last years' great turnout, we are hoping to involve as many members of our local North Northumberland communities as possible. The Event is simple: Come Along. Sing. Enjoy the atmosphere!
This year we welcome back the fantastic Alnwick Playhouse Concert Band to perform classic Christmas hits to get you singing along. With musicians accompanying singing on guitar and even some soloists leading some of your favourite Christmas songs, this year promises to be an even BIGGER event with even more CHRISTMAS SPIRIT!
If that's not enough to make you excited there's even going to be free MINCE PIES and HOT CHOCOLATE (along with other refreshments).
As with last year, song words will be provided on sheets handed out on the night, to help jog your memories! All you need to do, is bring your voice and your Christmas spirit along!
This is an entirely free community event and absolutely anybody is welcome to come along, including our many community groups, choirs, organisations, workplaces and the general public. Families & Dogs welcome.
