We are a small Cat and Kitten rescue centre based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Helping to take in unwanted and abandoned kittens and cats in order to find forever homes.
A £60 donation for the rehoming of an adult Cat is requested. Kittens are a compulsory £60 donation for a single rehoming, £100 for pairs. All kittens will be de-wormed and flea treated before leaving.
All animals we take in are given all necessary care, including vet checks, any necessary medication, and fresh food, water and litter (changed daily).
Neutering and spaying is carried out where necessary.
Cherry Tree Cat Rescue reserve the right to refuse adoption if deemed necessary. Home visits may be requested.
If a cat or kitten needs to be returned to Cherry Tree this will only be considered under extenuating circumstances, please contact us to discuss. Donations will not be refunded.
All potential adopters are required to meet the adoption criteria, this consists of being able to show that the cat or kitten will be appropriately cared for etc. New owners of kittens are expected to start inoculations immediately, and arrange for spaying/neutering within 6 months in accordance with Cats Protection guidelines.
Once rehomed, the new owner assumes full responsibility of the animal, its health, and welfare. Any vet treatment required following rehoming is the responsibility of the new owner.
If anybody wants to help in any way, either by rehoming one of our residents, or by donating food or money to the cause, it is all most graciously appreciated.
