Netherton Park Nursery School, <<not-applicable>>, School, Dudley

Welcome to Netherton Park Nursery School. We have been providing excellent education and care for the youngest children in Dudley since 1938.

Our Nursery School admits children after their third birthday and we have the capacity for up to 52 children at one time. Children can attend for either five part sessions per week, to be taken in the mornings or afternoons, or for two and a half days per week. We also have spaces for children to attend full time with before and after care given in our kindergarten.

All children are entitled 15 hours of free provision in the term following their third birthday. Any extra time is paid for as 'Wraparound Care' if space allows.

Nursery sessions are as follows:

5 Mornings - 8:40am - 11:40am

5 Afternoons - 12:30pm - 3:30pm

2 and 1/2 days - Monday and Tuesday 8:40am - 2:40pm and Wednesday 8:40am - 11:40am

Wednesday 12:30pm - 3:30pm and Thursday and Friday 8:40am - 2:40pm

Wraparound Care is available from 7:30am to 5:30pm all year around (Closed for Bank Holidays and INSET Days)

Our aim is to support the learning and development of each individual child by providing an integrated, balanced, broad, stimulating and differentiated curriculum.

We are happy to arrange a time for you to visit to look around the Nursery/Centre or to discuss your child's education. If you would like to place your child's name on our Nursery Registration list then please contact us on 01384 818255. Please contact us if you would like to visit or if you require any further information.

Kindergarten is our Early Years provision for 0-3 year olds. Children can be accommodated in our Baby Room from three months old and stay in there usually until they are almost two years old. Their state of development determines when they move from Baby Room into Rainbow Room which caters for two and three year olds.

Recent research highlights the importance of these very early years of life; it is vital that babies and toddlers from strong relationships with their important adults and that our key worker systems reinforce this.

It is equally key that very young children have the opportunities and experiences they need to grow and develop in a supported environment. Our staff are well qualified and experienced in ensuring that children's emotional, cognitive and physical developments are met.

We are open from 7:30am to 5:30pm all year round (Closed Bank Holidays and INSET Days). Please phone us if you would like to look around or discuss your childcare needs.

We also have limited number of places for Time for Two's, which is funded by the Government for children in disadvantaged areas. Please contact the Centre if you feel you may be entitled.

Time for Two's provision is available for eligible children the term following their second birthday.

It allows children 15 hours of childcare which we currently provide over morning sessions and afternoon sessions.

For information on whether you may be eligible to apply for a Time for Two's please visit:

You will need to complete an application form via the link above which will then be assessed. If your application is successful you will be sent an approval letter. As soon as you have the approval letter you are welcome to approach any settings that offer Time for Two's provision to join their waiting list.

You are more than welcome to visit us with your approval letter at any time in the year to be put on our waiting list for our next intake.
