Established by Harry Snape in 1936 as Snapes Household Store Ltd, Snape&sons is an independent family run business with over 75 years experience.Based in Cheadle Hulme, a leafy suburb of Greater Manchester, we strive to offer the best of both worlds, combining a modern store with traditional service and values.

We have come along way since opening our doors on a small retail unit on the corner of Station Road and Warren Close in Cheadle Hulme, where you could find us selling all manner of products of yesteryears and even providing petrol by the gallon (of course) out on the front with the aid of traditional petrol pumps. These were later used to pump paraffin, something we still sell loose by the gallon (4.546Litres) today!
