The Centre for Medical Education within the Medical School at the University of Dundee is one of the world's leading international centres for medical education involved in dissemination of information about health professions' education.

It is a research and development centre whose major focus is to make teaching, learning and assessment more effective in all phases of health professions' education; undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education. We provide educational support for Dundee Medical School and a number of other institutions in the UK and internationally.

Staff development for health professions' education is a major interest with currently over 2000 participants in a flourishing series of internationally recognised award-bearing courses at Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma, Masters and PhD levels.

A major strength of the Centre for Medical Education is the wide background of staff, who come from medicine, dentistry, education, social sciences, computing and psychology to form a multi professional team with a passion for education.
