AJ’s Piri Piri is a blend of spices and flavours designed to achieve maximum penetration and create a product full of taste and flavour.
The Portuguese were prolific explorers, and on their many journeys of discovery they amassed a treasure trove of herbs, spices and ingredients that have resulted in the truly unique cuisine of Portugal.
One of the best known spices is “Piri Piri”, derived from the tiny chilli peppers that the Portuguese introduced from Angola and Mozambique. Blended with other herbs and spices this resulted in the infamous fiery hot sauce that we use to marinade and baste our chicken pieces, giving you our fantastic, saucy and succulent mouth watering “AJ’s Piri Piri Chicken”.
