The origins of Alexandre London date back to 1895 when the Alexandre men's suit business which you know today began on a market stall in Leeds (England). 1905 saw the first chain of shops open and from there a thriving High Street retail business of over 300 stores developed.

Alexandre London first provided a Custom Tailored service for men's suits for the U.S. Forces in Europe as long ago as 1950. Today the Custom Tailoring Service we pride ourselves on serving to the U.S. forces worldwide is a first class service using only the highest quality manufacturing techniques and fabrics from the world's most reputable mills offering our customers the largest possible choice of colours and designs.

Custom Tailoring

We offer you the experience of owning a suit which is crafted for you and for your own personal requirement. Choose your fabric, your lining, the number of buttons on the front of the jacket and the cuff, the width of lapels, number of pockets and side vents or centre vents. Your measurements will be taken by our highly skilled Tailors which we in turn use to create a pattern which is unique to you and which we store for future orders. We aim to deliver your suit within 6 weeks from date of order and upon receipt into store we will make an appointment for your final fitting.

We are committed to constantly improving our designs and developing a wide range of styles specifically tailored to our customer's requirements and we use the latest technology both in our Design and Manufacturing operations.

Off The Rack

During the 1980's Alexandre London introduced an Off The Rack collection of suits, sports coats, blazers, trousers, overcoats and complimentary shirts and ties into The Exchange. This has continued to grow and today we provide a full collection of Men's Formal Wear to fit today's lifestyle and business dress.

We have been proud to support The Exchange for over 62 years. It is a pleasure to provide Custom Tailoring and Off The Rack Menswear which our American customers could only find in the best tailoring houses in the USA, and to ensure that they can afford this service.
