We are pleased to welcome you to our website. We are an artisan shop and gallery showcasing talented local artists and skilled crafters. Each month we will be featuring an artist of the month. This month we are featuring original paintings by Damian J Nicholson. Damian works with acrylic and oil paint to create aesthetically pleasing canvases which fuse both fine art and graphics. We are exhibiting Damian’s Kaleidoscopic paintings which have been created by the artist turning the canvas and working images from different viewpoints. The resulting canvases can be turned and viewed from all sides. We are also showing his series of Dreamscape canvases which suggest dreamlike states of mind and express a surreal quality. We have a selection of sketches by D.J Nicholson in paint and pencil. We are exhibiting a vast range of art and craft products by talented local people. Included for our opening day is work by Artists including Janine Wharmby, whose interest and experience with horses has contributed to the creation of beautiful work in many mediums which features horses and unicorns in a variety of different creative scenes and aspects. Laura Jayne Biss, who is exhibiting a range of drawings, illustrations, paintings and lino-prints showcasing her unique style and versatility. Malcolm Spratt, whose paintings are inspired by local scenes such as Burnham’s low lighthouse and big cats, having had a career in a zoological setting. Claire Springfield, who is exhibiting ceramic tealight holders with beautiful shape and embossed patterns. Vicki Clist, who creates a range of handmade jewellery and gifts including earrings, necklaces and keyrings. Anna Potapova, who customises quality t-shirts to create unique designs. Kallus Spore, whose canvases and artworks represent a fresh, exciting street-art style. Debby Smith, whose unique jewellery incorporates semi-precious gemstones. We are also exhibiting a privately owned collection of art which represents the great quality, style and range of talent soon to be arriving in Burnham on sea during the upcoming Spray Jam, for which we are delighted to be the official gallery. We are also pleased to announce that we will be offering the gallery space for art workshops and classes during the evenings and on Sundays. We have been overwhelmed by the support we have received in setting up this venture and thank you for your interest today.
