To develop involvement in Irish traditional culture in the parish of Ardboe through music, song, dance, Irish language, to name a few.
Due to the popularity of traditional culture in the Ardboe area and the increased demand for local sessions and lessons, Ardboe felt they needed their own identity. So, the founder of our local Muintirevlin branch, Patricia Quinn, decided, along with her sister Cathy Quinn, to form another branch more central for the upper Ardboe area. Ardboe Comhaltas wishes Muintirevlin branch every success in the future. The branches are all part of one big family. They will use their expertise from being part of that original committee to form this fresh new branch which will have it's first AGM on 1st September 2014 in "Social Butterflies" Children's Daycare centre in Ardboe Business Park, Unit 1. The branch is not quite formed yet but will be affiliated with Comhaltas in September.
