Ashbourne Golf Club, founded in 1886, is the oldest, & reputedly the friendliest club in Derbyshire, enjoying splendid views over Dovedale, the Weaver Hills & Ashbourne!
The course is quite demanding and offers a combination of moorland, parkland and almost links-like features. It is developing an excellent reputation with the Derbyshire county teams, who hold some of their matches at Ashbourne.
Ashbourne is a private members club with an active membership including strong ladies, juniors and seniors sections. The club is accredited by English Golf to GolfMark, the national scheme that identifies and recognises junior- and beginner-friendly golf facilities.
