This quaint and cosy Lakeland cottage is Grade II listed and dates back to about 1650 with original oak ceiling beams and thick stone walls. It has recently been completely refurbished. There is free Wi Fi, private off-road parking for one car and a patio with outdoor furniture where you can sit in peace and quiet and enjoy the spectacular views to the North across the town and on to the fells towards Rydal.

Situated in the conservation area of Old Ambleside, the cottage is in a quiet, slightly elevated position, well away from the traffic and the hustle and bustle of this popular Lake District destination yet only two minutes' walk to all the town centre shops, pubs and restaurants.

It’s the perfect place for a romantic retreat or family break. Ideally located for walking, cycling and all manner of outdoor pursuits and for exploring this beautiful National Park.
