Baddow Hall Pump Track - <>

Baddow Hall Pump Track has been created through the hard work and determination of local residents.

A pump track is the terminology used within the Bmx/Mountain bike community to describe a track that has been designed to reduce pedalling and utilize a pumping action of the riders body and leg compressions to propel themselves around the track aided by a ramp to initially get the riders moving.

The track is designed for just about anyone who owns a bicycle from the ages of 4 to over 40. The design of this pump track caters for both novice to expert riders, whilst allowing non BMX bikes such as any variant of mountain type bikes to safely enjoy the track also.

This track will get the older kids to ride away from the streets to this safe traffic free environment where these bike riders can go to have fun, improve fitness, learn new bike skills and make friends. This facility will combat antisocial behaviour from Bmx/Mountain bike riders, such as riding around shop areas, digging up local parks/common areas to make dirt jumps.

The outer section of the track is designed for the novice riders and the inner sections for the more experienced riders.
