Breeders and producers of traditional Old English Longhorn Cattle, specialising in producing slow matured grass reared premium quality beef.

At Bankend Longhorn we pride ourselves in the quality of cattle we produce. All our cattle are free range and slowly matured on top quality grass and silage, doing so we can ensure all our beef is free from any supplements or concentrates and is of premium quality.

All our beef is professionally butchered by a local butcher and is hung for over 30 days ensuring our beef is at its most flavoursome and tenderest stage when it reaches your plate.

Bankend Longhorn sells its beef in bulk. Each beast is divided equally into six portions once butchered and then sold as a sixth.
Prices start from £330 for 1/6th.

1/6th of a beast weighing approx 35kgs with cuts including:
- Ribs (3kg - 2 large ribs)
- Mince (3kg)
- Stewing Steak (2.5 kg)
- Shin Beef (4kg)
- Topside Joint (5kg - 3 large joints)
- Silver-side Joint (3kg - 2 large joints)
- Brisket Joint (4kg - 2 large joints)
- Braising Steak (2.5kg)
- Rump Steak (4kg - 4 extra large steaks)
- Sirloin Steak (2.5kg - 6 steaks)
- Fillet Steak (1.5kg - 4 steaks)
- Liver (Optional)
NB: All weights and prices are approximate and can vary slightly depending on the size of the beast being butchered.

GROUP BOOKING: We understand this is a large amount of beef and people may not have the capacity to store it, therefore why not consider getting a group of your friends/family/colleagues together to share the taste, order and cost?

Half a Beast:
1/2 of a beast weighing approx 70kgs includes the cuts mentioned above.

Full Beast:
A full beast weighing approx 140kgs includes the cuts mentioned above.
