Beaminster youth centre is a vibrant club for young people from 8 to 23. Through the programmes, activities and ethos of the centre, the youth workers support young people and act as mentors and role models in their personal and social development. The programmes that the centre provide create opportunities for the young people to develop into mature and responsible adults who will play an important role within their community and wider society.
Young people can access advice and information, informal educative activities or just come and meet with friends and have fun.
The centre has a large coffee bar, sports hall, music/band room and art room. The centre is open daily for admin or advice and information. The specific clubs are as follows:
Tuesday Band session - Beaminster POP Club - 6pm - 8pm - Free
Wednesday Juniors - age 8 to 11 - 5pm - 6.45pm -£1 entry
Wednesday Seniors - age 11 and over - 7pm to 9pm - Variety of trips out bowling etc. from £4
Thursday Project Night 4pm - 6pm
Thursday Games Club 5pm - 8pm
Friday Seniors - age 11 and over - 7pm - 10pm - £1 entry
Sunday Gaming Cub - any age - 2pm - 6pm - Free - Magic, Vanguard and Board Games and more
