I currently own 2 event horses, My Harlequin Lady, a 6yo currently competing at BE Novice level successfully. I have had Lady since a 3yo and have really enjoyed producing her myself up the levels. I have recently just purchased another 3yo Shannondale Annie, who has the potential to take my further up the levels and I am really excited about her future. I currently work at a security business in Sheffield to fund my eventing career. Unlike many other Eventers I do not come from a horsey background and without any training facilities on site I have to travel elsewhere to keep the correct fitness levels making my ambitions harder to achieve, but with my sponsors and supporters I know I will get there. My journey continues and is set to be a very interesting one which you can follow and relate to with my self produced horses.

I want to keep on proving & encouraging other amateurs they can compete against professional riders with no facilities or unlimited budget and still succeed. With thanks to the Equestrian Social Media Awards and the 3rd place I was awarded means I am one step further to for filling that initial aim.

2014 is set to be another exciting year with two new sponsors joining my team, I am also very excited to be working with existing sponsors for a third year running. I recently won the Equilibrium January search for a rising star, as well as becoming a finalist for the ESMA's best use of twitter. In January I was invited for the training and selection days for the GB 2* Eventing team on a horse I have produced myself from a 4yo.
