Farmers' Market
A recently formed but already much anticipated monthly farmers’ market in the heart of town, Beeston Farmers’ Market is establishing itself as a port of call for conscientious shoppers looking to buy fresh, local produce at a convenient location. Situated in the midst of a busy shopping centre our market in ‘The Square’ provides an oasis of calm where you can speak directly with our farmers and artisan producers to learn more about the provenance of the food you choose for you and your family. Take time to sample their wares and don’t forget to ask them to share their top tips and favourite recipes. Held on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9am until 2pm, current stalls include locally produced pies, local honey, handmade fudge, artisan bread, speciality teas, gourmet coffee, Indian snacks and cooking sauces, chilli marinades and rubs, homemade jams, chutneys and marmalades, fresh, organic meat and game, fresh eggs, butter, cheese and milk, real ale, handmade chocolates and crisps and a range of gluten free foods as well as a beautiful selection of hand-crafted items including soap, clocks and soft furnishings.
