A community run health walking group. Professionally guided outdoor activities, hill walking, camping, climbing, abseiling, suitable for most abilities.
We run at least 4 grades of walk each week throughout the year, suitable for almost anybody. Depending on demand we can also offer a fifth with some notice. They follow the Walking for Health model, which is a socially inclusive concept with qualified walk leaders accompanying everyone. They are intended as an opportunity for people to transition from being 'couch-potatoes' to seasoned hill walkers and mountaineers. There are opportunities to take part in formal and informal training sessions, and can include wild-camping, expeditions, climbing and abseiling.
