Two beautifully presented self-catering properties just a stone’s throw from the stunning Blakeney Quay, on the North Norfolk coast - perfect for that special romantic break. Decorated and furnished by their interior designer owners with beautiful, quality soft furnishings and an eclectic mix of antiques and collectables, give both properties a wonderfully comfortable ambience. The Boat House and Slipway are a short stroll from all the amenities in this sought after coastal village. The properties are adjacent to one another, so can be hired together to sleep 4 (2 couples) or separately sleeping 1 couple each.

The Boat House
The Boat House offers the perfect setting for a relaxed romantic break. Its interior designer owners have created a very intimate space with a cosy feel in a ‘hotel suite style’ layout.

Walk into The Boat House through an arched doorway which leads into a spacious living space with comfortable large sofa and dining area centred around a generous sized log burner. The area also has a pretty round pine table for relaxed dining, along with a TV with DVD & an iPod player. From the living space take 3 steps up to a mezzanine level where you will find a comfortable king size bed and most importantly stunning views looking over Blakeney Quay. The bedroom overlooks the living space so on those colder nights you can snuggle under the duvet to the flicker and warmth of the log burner.

A shower room with large double shower, fluffy large towels and towel robes is found off the main living space. The Boat House also has mini kitchen facilities within the living area; kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer, microwave, crockery, kitchen sink and dishwasher – giving you the option to eat in if you so wish.

Outside the entrance to The Boat House is a lovely terrace, for the exclusive use of guests. It’s a lovely place for breakfast or an evening drink on sunny days! The Boat House does not have private parking but there is free parking at the bottom of the driveway next to the quay. The Boat House has free Wi-Fi and central heating.

Prices for The Boat House range from £100-£140 per night (minimum of 2 nights stay) and £540-690 per week.

Slipway Cottage
Slipway Cottage is a romantic one-bedroom retreat with generous living space including a well-equipped kitchen and a small private garden. The beauty of this charming cottage is that it’s all on one level and the garden terrace can be accessed from both the bedroom and sitting room.

Walk into Slipway through an arched doorway, which leads into the wonderfully light and comfortable sitting area with a comfy sofa and armchairs and TV, DVD and iPod player. Beyond the sitting area is the breakfast kitchen with a range style cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. and a pretty round pine table seating four and off the kitchen is a pantry with washing machine and plenty of storage.

One side of this delightful room looks over the small enclosed rear garden with a lovely terrace for evening drinks and alfresco meals. A part-glazed door leads from the sitting room to the garden. Beyond the kitchen is the sumptuous bedroom. Beautifully decorated and with an ensuite shower room, this bedroom oozes romance and style with part-glazed doors opening out on to the small private terrace garden.

Slipway has free Wi-Fi, full central heating and private parking for one car at the front.

Prices for Slipway are £325 for a 3-night stay or £625 for 7-nights.
