THE NEW Bliss hair studio at 15 Langton Place in Bury St Edmunds is designed for the family in every meaning.
For it is is run by Melanie with her daughter Claire, 25, as key stylist.
And they have had help from younger daughter Abbie who helps with smaller tasks.
And a whole family of customers benefits - including men and children too.
The double doors at the premises mean that customers with pushchairs or in wheelchairs can be welcomed too.
“We are a very family-friendly environment,” said Melanie.
“It is very important to us that the whole family feels welcomed.”
After 15 years in the profession, the last eight of which were spent with the Vanilla salon in Bury, Melanie felt the time was right to start her own business and just over two years ago launched Bliss in the premises formerly occupied by John Olivers., who has now recruited another stylist (Lucy) and a Apprentice (Sarah)
“I have the support of loyal customers and look forward to welcoming new ones too,” said Melanie
And she has been pleased by the support offered by other traders in Langton Place who have been popping in to ask if any help is needed.
The salon has late nights on Tuesday and Thursday, when it opens until 7.30pm .
