Piano lessons Music theory, Aural skills - one to one tuition, all ages and abilities welcome at The Broadstairs Piano Studio. I'm located in the center of Broadstairs where I have been teaching piano and music for many years. I try to create a relaxed atmosphere where my students are able to enjoy the lesson time and make good progress to the best of their ability.I working with students of various ages and abilities using various exercises and a wide range of music books and theory books to help develop technical and artistic aspects of playing and musical knowledge, depending on individual needs. I build theory into the lessons using music the students are studying as theory examples. I try to maintain a balance between personal enjoyment and challenging oneself with opportunities to take Trinity or ABRSM exams, perform and compete, or just learn for fun! If a student doesn't understand something, it is my responsibility to explain, try another angle or try something different and to encourage my students to interact. Accompanying adults are welcome to sit in on lessons.
