News about the parishes of Biddestone, Castle Combe, Grittleton, Littleton Drew, Nettleton, North Wraxall, Slaughterford, West Kington and Yatton Keynell.
We are a group of ten rural parishes based around the villages of Biddestone, Castle Combe, Grittleton, Kington St. Michael, Littleton Drew, Nettleton & Burton, North Wraxall, Slaughterford, West Kington and Yatton Keynell, alongside a number of smaller hamlets.
We believe that the church is an important part of the local community, but that we are also called to be a part of the wider world. If you are local and would like to find out more about the churches here, then we would love to meet you or to hear from you, and we hope that this page and our website will be a place where you can find information and encouragement for everyday life. Some of our churches are popular with tourists and visitors and so many of them are open during the day to welcome you either for a visit or as a place of prayer and worship.
Across the group we offer a variety of styles of worship ranging from traditional Book of Common Prayer, and Common Worship services to Celtic and informal family services as well as contemporary worship in Soul Space. We believe that worship should be for everyone, and so provision is made in most of our churches with either a Sunday School or activity bags. The details of these can be found on our web pages, as can news, information and pictures of each of our churches.
