Castle Donington is a prestigious General & EMI Nursing and Residential Care Home, opened in May 2002, registered with Commission for Social Care (CSCI), accepting other county residents care packages via local authority / private placements, including Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. It is a purpose built 60 bedded Home catering for a variety of residents with different needs and / or illnesses, such as its small 10 bed Huntington’s Unit. The two-storey building has been specially designed to offer choice, freedom and open access to residents within small zoned Units. There are single en-suite bedrooms throughout the Home, and there is also an option for double rooms (if required). This Home is very well integrated into the local community and hosts various entertainment evenings and functions throughout the year.
