Welcome to Exeter Axhayes Adoption Centre’s Facebook page. Our centre is one of the oldest Cats Protection adoption centres which opened back in 1988. We currently re-home approximately 700-800 cats a year. We help neuter approximately 600 cats and kittens a year. Our centre is one of the largest adoption centres in the UK with about 200 cats and kittens in our care. Our centre consists of separate areas for admissions, isolation, maternity and rehoming. We also have a veterinary room where a vet health checks, vaccinates and microchips every cat that comes into our centre.

Our cats and kittens have all been fully vaccinated, health checked by our vet, neutered (over 4 months old), microchipped, de-flead and wormed. Our cats come with 4 weeks free insurance when homed. The average cost of looking after a cat in our care can reach well over £200, and this does not include any necessary treatment. To help our costs we ask for an adoption fee of £60 per cat, and any donations are gratefully received.

We are sharing our page with our Taunton Homing & Information Centre. Our newest centre opened in August 2016 - we are based at Blackdown Garden Centre, Wellington, Somerset. Here, we have 5 pens with cats & kittens ready & waiting for their forever homes. We also offer advice and information about cat care, cat behaviour and neutering.
