Our shop opened at 28a Newerne Street, Lydney in 2001 and is staffed by a wonderful band of some 25 volunteers led by our experienced manageress. Without the time and effort so generously donated by our volunteers, we could not exist!The shop generates a significant income which helps to defray the considerable expenses involved in helping Forest cats.Our main expenses are, inevitably, incurred for veterinary care for the cats in our care.
Additionally we have to pay for quantities of tinned cat food and biscuits, cat litter and for transporting cats to and from the vets.
We also run regular neutering campaigns to enable those less well off to have their cats neutered free of charge or at a vastly reduced rate.
New volunteers and customers are always welcome, especially those bringing us good quality items to sell!
