CGM Ltd is an established family business founded by farmer's son Tim Glover in 1985. Working alone at first, Tim began mowing a local churchyard as a contract with the Parish Council. As the business took off, he won other Parish Council contracts, and was joined by a member of staff who is still employed by CGM today.

Fours years later, Tim was joined in the business by his wife Julie who is now the Company Secretary. After winning their first contract with a local authority in 1989, the company developed quickly and continued with further investment into machinery and staff development. This first contract still stands today and has been with the company continuously since 1989.

Following steady growth, the company acquired a competitor in Norwich in 2006, before adding a new Cambridge branch in 2009. A real commitment to quality and the environment is shown through the hard work put into achieving ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in 2008.

Today CGM employs approximately sixty members of staff and holds a wide range of contracts across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. CGM customers include government bodies, local authorities, highway agencies together with industrial premises, hotels and private domestic clients.
CGM has developed to employ a full management team who support both Tim and Julie in their company achievements, working alongside the directors to continue the development of the business.
