Child Clinical Psychology for Chichester and surrounding area. Qualified Clinical Psychologist specialising in Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist specialising in Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health. I offer high quality, evidence based assessment and intervention to children aged 0-18 and their families. I am based in Chichester, West Sussex and will see people in West Sussex and from the surrounding areas of Hampshire and Surrey.
I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist at the University of Leicester and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I worked in the NHS for 15 years in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Child Learning Disability.
I now provide flexible independent clinics to children, young people and their families. The aim is to provide detailed assessment and tailored therapeutic interventions for a range of emotional, behavioral and mental health difficulties.
No two children, individuals or parents, are the same, and as such, the advice and support I offer is tailored to meet a family's unique needs, as and when they arise. Tailored interventions use a wide range of evidence-based treatments in model-specific or integrated ways. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent Infant Psychotherapy (PIP), Therapeutic play and Narrative/Systemic Approaches for example. My approach is based on your personal needs and mutually identified goals and I take a collaborative approach to work together.
I can do home and school visits by arrangement and provide consultation to other professionals and networks working with your child by arrangement.
I can also work with wider family members if this is identified as helpful to your child.
