The Clackmannan Town Hall Trust is a voluntary community organisation who are committed to a long term project to manage the Clackmannan Town Hall and provide educational, social welfare and recreational facilities for our local community.
The Town Hall has traditionally been a social centre for Clackmannan folk and was originally built to supercede the town’s earlier Cooperative Hall. After the original main hall was constructed a number of other halls and rooms were later added to provide a more diverse type of facility
The Hall is kept in a well maintained condition inside and out with many original features retained. The premises also complies largely with all relevant statutory requirements.
Boasting a commanding position at the eastern entrance to the towns Main Street it stands only a short distance from all amenities and other fine examples of the old county town’s architectural heritage including ;
The Mercat Cross, Tolbooth, Ancient Stone of Mannan (above), Parish Kirk and 14th century Tower on Kings Seat Hill.
Clackmannan is truly a historical gem and as such remains largely undiscovered. A must for visitors to the Wee County.
