Clwb Plant y Borth

The mission of Clwb Plant Y Borth is to provide safe, affordable and high quality after school and holiday childcare for the local community.

Following the closure of the after school club at Ysgol y Borth, Menai Bridge, a new social enterprise founded by parents, is in the process of been formed, with the aim to provide a new after school building on the site of the old building within the school grounds and subsequently providing affordable after school and holiday childcare in a safe, warm and stimulating environment. Allowing children to play freely, whilst developing confidence and positive relationships with peers and carers.

To develop Clwb Plant Y Borth as an environmentally aware project, by incorporating ecological features in the current and future developments of the building. To provide fun and educational activities within the club that will introduce and inform the children of environmental issues and ecological sustainability.

Our aim is to have new premises and be up and running in 2013.
