I established Cohesion in May 2008 with the aim of providing simple, straight forward and reasonably priced computer services to domestic and commercial users all over Northern Ireland.
Initially Cohesion was a premises based business where customers could bring their faulty equipment for repairs as well as peruse our range of PCs, laptops and peripherals for sale. This was a business model that allowed us to become a very popular and well respected business in the Limavady area with our business continuing to grow year on year.
In 2013 I decided to restructure the business as rising costs meant a rise in the charges being passed onto the end user. I didn’t feel comfortable with this and closed Cohesion as a retail inspired, premises based business.
I changed Cohesion to an ‘on-the-road’ business, aiming to cut costs at our end, resulting in reduced costs for the customer. The primary wish from this change was to create new business by creating a reputation of providing a hassle free experience for the customer. The theory was:
A. We collect the faulty equipment from the user at their home/premises.
B. We repair the item.
C. We return the repaired item to the user at their home/premises.
It couldn’t be simpler!
Since restructuring the business my brother and sole employee Fergal carries out the majority of our repairs at our workshop allowing me to carry out business calls and maintenance. Having more time to put into this element we have been able to acquire customers in further reaches of the province including customers in Ballyclare, Larne, Glengormley and customers working at Stormont and for Belfast City Council.
We are convinced that our after sales care is second to none and we have had customers coming back to us for the past 7 years due to the fact that they can always contact us with any problems they have and if they do encounter any major problems they know that they are going to be carried out by either myself or Fergal.
