The name says is all, Cosy Corner has been renovated to bring both the old tearoom atmosphere and more modern restaurant together. Set in a 1970s building, originally 3 cottages, Cosy Corner has seen many generations working here as well as enjoying the fresh food and custom.
A large selection of hot and cold food and beverages are available, from 10 am to late afternoon. Omelette's for breakfast or lunch or try the every popular tea cake. Lunch time is fun, it could take you a few months to get through the variety on the menu. Toasties, baked potatoes, fresh soups and chunky bread, salads, lasagne, cottage pie, smoked haddock and cheese fish cakes just to name a few. Vegetarians have a great choice.
We also cater for gluten free customers, there are hot dishes and desserts to chose from. We stock Welsh ice cream, which is served on its own or with many puddings and home made cakes.
Our coffee range is fantastic, espresso, cappuccino, late (better known as the milky coffee) and a range of herbal tea and Welsh brew. Milkshakes and pops are here. All our bread is purchased from local Breadstix and ham from our local butcher. We prepare and cook a fresh ham in our kitchen each week.
Cosy Corner is also available for private hire and will be introducing themed evenings for families. CaLL Taryn or Al to discuss.
