Croft Kincardine is a peaceful and luxurious log cabin. Ideal for families, fishers, skiers, walkers or anyone looking to relax in beautiful surroundings.
Kincardine Lodge, located in the Cairngorms National Park, is a peaceful countryside retreat that’s ideal for nature lovers, walkers, skiers and anyone who wants to find a tranquil refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The cabin is a Scandinavian-style timber lodge with a traditional turf roof that allows it to blend unobtrusively into its surroundings. It nestles at the end of a private drive in glorious seclusion on the banks of the River Spey, with breathtaking views across the water and the unspoiled countryside beyond. Although splendidly isolated, Kincardine Lodge is not remote, with the shops, facilities and nightlife of Aviemore just a 15 minute drive away.
Featuring a central wood burning stove and natural wood interior, the lodge has a comfortably old-fashioned, homely atmosphere while still being luxuriously appointed with every modern convenience. The open plan living room and kitchen areas are perfect for relaxing after a long day’s skiing or hiking, with ample soft seating and a spacious dining table that comfortably seats eight. Sleeping arrangements are generous and versatile, with two twin rooms and one double room available, and also an additional bedroom with a bunk bed for younger members of the family. Two of the bedrooms are en-suite, while the other two share a single bathroom. All bedrooms look out onto woodland views.
In cooler months the log burning stove becomes the focal point of the property, whilst in summer the expansive balcony with outdoor seating allows you to enjoy this beautiful location to the full – with breathtaking views of the Spey Valley all around, there are few better spots for an evening barbeque, and children will love the outdoor swing and the freedom to explore what Kincardine estate offers.
The lodge also has Wi-Fi internet access and comes fully stocked with a basket of logs for the stove. Other house hold essentials are also provided such as-
1. Freshly made beds
2. A large and small towel for eight people
