Dancing school based in Crowborough, offering Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz.

Baby Ballet from 2.5 years. Adult Ballet (all abilities). Tap, Modern and Jazz all ages. Examination syllabus followed with optional exams. Shows, displays and feted. Performance group = CB Dancers. Summer school! The Crowborough School of Dancing has been owned by Caroline Button for 21 years and in that time Caroline has given thousands of children a love of dance which many of them still have to this day. Caroline has danced from the age of 2 taking many exams and performing in local shows and winning many competitions at The Joyce Lewis School in Tunbridge Wells. At the age of 10 (a full year earlier than usual) Caroline was offered a full scholarship to train at the highly prestigious Bush Davies for 9 years. On completing her teaching exams in Ballet, Modern and Tap for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, Caroline taught for the Seymour Dance School in Germany before returning to England to teach for and eventually take over The Crowborough School Of Dancing. Caroline is also qualified to teach The International Society of Dance Teachers syllabi in Ballet, Modern and Tap and is pleased to offer this further syllabi to the school. In 2012 The Crowborough School of Dancing were thrilled to help with the design of the purpose built dance studio at The Crowborough Community Centre and were very proud to be chosen to dance for Dame Beryl Grey and the local dignatries at the opening gala evening. The Crowborough School of Dancing now hold all their dance classes in the state of the art dance studio.
The Crowborough School of Dance offers classes in Ballet,(From 2.5 years) Tap, Street Pop and Commercial Jazz. We also have adult Tap classes. Our class are reasonably priced with payment schemes by arrangement and all classes are capped to ensure individual attention.
