We are a small and friendly community nursery in the heart of Cumnor Village. We offer high quality part-time pre-school education for children aged 2-5.
We are a small and welcoming community nursery established in the 1960s. Our aim is to provide the highest possible standard of nursery care and education.
The nursery is located within the grounds of Cumnor Primary School in the heart of Cumnor village, surrounded by open fields in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. We are a separate organisation from the School but with close links. However there is no formal catchment area and the nursery happily accepts children who will eventually go on to attend a different local primary school.
We offer part-time pre-school education for children aged two to five years. Children can start at the nursery after their second birthday. Morning sessions are for two year olds and younger three year olds, and afternoon sessions are for our older children, rising four and above, who remain as a group for the year before they start school.
All our staff are highly qualified (Level 3 or above) in nursery education, and the team has a wealth of experience, and is committed to the welfare and development of every child. Meet the team
Cumnor Pre-School is a registered charity managed entirely by a voluntary committee of parents, which aims to provide excellent nursery care for the benefit of local parents at a reasonable cost. Nursery fees cover staff salaries and day to day expenses whilst the acquisition of learning materials and equipment is met by fundraising.
