The delicious South African Boerewors Roll comes to St Albans, Hertfordshire
The delicious Boerewors Roll gets a British makeover, using locally sourced ingredients.
Boerewors (farmer’s sausage) is made from coarsely ground beef and spices including cloves, nutmeg, coriander, black pepper and all spice. It is traditionally prepared on a braai (coal fired barbeque) or Cadac Skottel (the African take on a gas BBQ) and served on a roll, often with onions, fried to release its sweetness. SAFFA’s (South Africans) affectionately call it Boerie or Wors Rolls (pronounced Vors).
Our Boerie is made fresh, daily by the Bok and Rose Butchery, using 100% grass fed British beef. The rolls are handmade from a local artisanal bakery.
Dave’s Wors Rolls brings a truly South African experience and flavour to Hertfordshire. Our Wors Rolls are served with caramelised onions and SAFFA household favourites - All Gold Tomato Sauce and Mrs Balls Chutney.
Take a bite, close your eyes and picture yourself under African skies.
