Founded in 1948 by the National Federation of Women’s Institutes (NFWI), Denman offers a wealth of opportunities to learn new skills and expand your horizons on a variety of courses in cookery, craft and lifestyle. Over 6,000 students each year pass through our doors, and each one leaves with enduring memories and a genuine sense of accomplishment. Set in the picturesque village of Marcham, near Oxford (with the ‘dreaming spires’ within easy reach), the Georgian mansion and 17 acres of grounds provide the pitch perfect atmosphere for learning.
