Our Dronfield Vets practice is on the border of Derbyshire and Sheffield and being so located means our clinic draws clients from a broad area. We have good facilities, including radiography and an in house lab, and are open 6 days a week. We welcome new clients and use this site for most of our puppy parties.
The building is in a small shopping arcade, in the centre of Dronfield Woodhouse. We are close to Dronfield town centre plus other communities such as Holmesfield, Totley, Dore, Bradway, Greenhill, Eckington and Chesterfield.
The countryside is rolling green fields, on the boundary of the Peak District. It is only a few minutes’ walk to the country side and a real centre for young families and kids. Most of our pets are cats and dogs but we are seeing an increasing number of rabbits almost every week.
We have a great team on site at our Dronfield Vets Clinic who can offer advice on your pet’s needs. We get a daily delivery of stock so if we don’t have what you need in, we can always order it next day. If there is something you need such as dog food, just ring us a 2 days before hand.
If you need to stretch your legs, before or after your appointment, there is an open grassy park 100m away (behind the Scout Hut), with space for your dog to run around in. There are many things to do around the area. Dronfield has a nice swimming pool and sports centre by the town hall. The ‘Big Moor’ and Chatsworth are to west in the Peak District National Park, close to Baslow and the Hope Valley.
Our main surgery at Hunters Bar, on Ecclesall Road, has more facilities and is able to offer extra services such as ultrasound and cardiology work and we also provide veterinary care at our smaller Hope Valley branch in Grindleford. Our three sites work closely together, we share the same staff and computer system and we have several clients who we are seen regularly at all three sites
