Elmsdown is a comfortable & airy two storey apartment in the heart of this bustling highland town. This bright spacious apartment offers convenience and comfort for families & groups seeking a self-catering base for their holiday, its central setting means restaurants, cafes & shops are all just minutes away.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Dam & famous salmon ladder are all within walking distance, whilst Pitlochry’s location at the heart of the Highlands makes it perfect for exploring the many attractions of this hugely scenic area. Walkers can climb Ben Vrackie or enjoy one of the many lower level walks that start from Pitlochry town centre. Wildlife enthusiasts can visit the Osprey hide near Dunkeld whilst for the more energetic, cycling, fishing, white water rafting and golfing are all available in abundance.

Pitlochry’s elegant railway station enjoys regular services between Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness as well as a daily service between London (King’s Cross) and Inverness.

Elegant dining room with solid oak furniture, including a large dining room room table which seats eight.

Shower room and WC

My name is the Reverend Steven Young and I’m the priest-in-charge of St Michael and All Angels Mill Hill in the Diocese of London. My family and I own Elmsdown primarily as a place to spend our own winter and summer holidays together and hopefully as a future home in retirement after my time as a parish priest comes to an end. We really value and get so much fulfilment out of the time we spend together as a family on holiday. We are particularly interested in sharing this experience with others by letting the holiday apartment to careful guests who might otherwise struggle to afford a large family or group holiday elsewhere.

The holiday apartment is particularly suitable for those who cannot afford or choose not to run a car. It’s situated just 3 minutes walk from Pitlochry station with regular direct services from Kings Cross and other locations throughout the UK. You really could not hope for an easier car-free holiday! Almost all Pitlochry’s attractions are within easy walking distance of Elmsdown. For more information on train services to Pitlochry please search for your chosen at dates at http://www.eastcoast.co.uk/ direct tickets from Kings Cross start from as little as £33 per adult ticket. For drivers the route is straightforward as Pitlochy is just off the A9 – the main trunk road towards Inverness.

The holiday flat is primarily advertised amongst church congregations. However we of course welcome all faiths and none. We sincerely hope that you and your travelling companions get as much pleasure and quality time together out of our wee Scottish home as we have been fortunate enough to enjoy as a family.
