Halstead is a beautiful old style English market town set in the heart of North Essex in the UK.

Its traditional high street offers a wonderful array of shops, pubs and restaurants for locals and visitors to the town to enjoy. Its regular market and the historical Townsford Mill set on the River Colne is home to the popular Halstead antiques centre where hidden treasures are there to be found.

Riverside walks and its public gardens add to the beauty of the town with volunteers from the award wining Halstead in Bloom team creating and lovingly maintaining beautiful floral displays each year, brightening and adding to the charm of the town.
