Equip is a UK based Christian charity working in Rwanda to promote opportunity and excellence primarily in education and health

Equip is currently working in Rwanda supporting the development of vocational and health education. Our first school, Kingdom Secondary and Vocational School is the first of its kind in Kigali and its core purpose is to equip young people with the skills needed to make their own way in life. Rwanda is developing good schools and their aim is for all children to attend classes by the year 2020. The government has welcomed the development of this school whose priority is to serve young people identified by the local leaders as most needing the help. It is currently free for those students thanks to the kind donations from our supporters.

Through this initial pilot project, Equip wants to discover the best way to deliver the right kind of education programmes to the right people. Our heart is then to widen the impact by establishing more schools in Kigali, Rwanda and beyond.
