Essential skills training - Provider of training, qualifications and consultancy for Health and Social care providers.

Sara trained as a nurse for individuals with learning disabilities and since qualifying has managed various small residential care homes an d supported living services in and around Ipswich and Colchester. During this time she also completed her Diploma in Management.

She has worked as a Care Manger for Essex Social services and helped to close down long term institutions and support individuals with learning disabilities move out of hospital care into their own homes.

Sara has worked in the Training and development field since 2001, delivering training for support staff and managers . She has been an NVQ assessor & verifier and supported 100's of managers and support staff to achieve their qualifications.

She has supported various centre to get up & running & has managed her own NVQ centre EST since 2008.

She is now training to be an External Verifier for OCR to monitor the quality of other centres around the country.
