Anstey Morris Men are Leicestershire's premier morris dancing side. We perform dances originating in the South Midlands region of the country. This style is known as Cotswold Morris. Anstey specialise mainly in dances from the traditions of: Bidford on Avon, Adderbury, Fieldtown, Bampton, Bucknell, Bledington, Lichfield and Ilmington.
We meet every Wednesday throughout the year, except for a few weeks off in September and over Christmas. During the Autumn and Winter months we meet to practice at the Church Rooms in Anstey, and during the summer we perform at various pubs around Leicestershire and South Notts. We can also be seen at various dance festivals and other events across the country from time to time.
