Falkland is a historic village located in the north of Fife with a wide range of activities and interests catered for.

Most recently, the village is recognised a lot from the TV series, Outlander. As part of the setting both series that are available to see in the UK, you can explore the various scenes and locations that the filming took place.

Apart from the lovely scenery to enjoy, you can take long or short walks around the village and surrounding estate, taking advantage of the well maintained paths and fresh air, or for those who prefer, you can take your bike out for a ride.

If you would rather have a short stroll around the village, there are a number of things to see, from the palace and fountain to the lovely greens to relax in.

With a selection of coffee houses, tea rooms and restaurants, you have a choice of the type of thing you would like to have and place to sit and have a break. None of the venues are to be missed, with the food tasting fantastic.
