Falmouth University Printmaking Deptartment is located in the tropical gardens at the Woodlane Campus
We facilitate a range of printmaking practices and are keen for students to use both traditional and non traditional processes.
In our studio we currently have two technician's Tom Woodward and Bianca Cork who hold a range of inductions within different processes throughout the year.
We currently house:
4 large screen printmaking beds / 2m x 1.5
2 Offset presses / bed size 1m x 70cm
1 Stone lithography press / Bed size 80 x 80
2 Relief printing presses / 70 x 50
2 Etching presses / Max - 120cm x 78cm
Exposure Unit maximum size 150cm x 120cm
Acetate Printer 60cm x 140cm
Open bath nitric acid for etching zinc and steel.
Ferric for etching Copper.
