Farnham Park Baseball and Softball Club (formerly Chalfont Softball Club) has been running since 2004 and plays in the Windsor and Maidenhead District Mixed Softball League. We are based at Farnham Park baseball and softball facility near Farnham Common in Buckinghamshire.
For those that are not sure what softball is, it is a sport that is very similar to baseball. It is predominantly played in this country by teams with an equal number of men and women, making it a very social and fun sport to play. It is an incredibly easy sport to pick up and we find that anyone that has an eye for a ball, regardless of age, can quickly become a good player.
The softball league season runs from mid April until late August. The games are played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm. We play our home league games at Farnham Park before heading to the pub for post match drinks. We also train at Farnham Park, with sessions taking place every Monday evening from 6.30pm.
We are always on the look out for new players, experienced or not, so if you would like to take up the sport or start playing after a break then please contact us.
