When we set up this page our parent charity was closing us down unless we could raise the £70,000 needed to buy our premises, in Norfolk, UK.

For a small rescue it seemed an impossible task but after 14 hard weeks we made it, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of the general public.

We are currently in the process of registering as a charity in our own right and the conveyancing of the three and a half acres we call home is well in progress. We have our own board of Trustees who all passionately care about moggies and the most committed group of volunteers who care for the cats every single day.

FELINE CARE was originally founded in 1997 by The Cat and Rabbit Rescue Centre charity, based near Chichester in West Sussex. The CRRC operate a strict policy never to put a healthy animal to sleep which leads to a number of cats who take longer to re-home. Feline Care was founded to take on these 'unwanted' moggies and offer a forever-home to those with nowhere else to go.

Over the years Feline Care has evolved as many of the nervous cats we take in have slowly learnt to love humans and have since found their own homes. Now we operate a regular rescue and rehoming sanctuary but with a difference because we will always aim to be here for those who need us most...
