Fell End Bunkhouse is perfectly situated in open countryside amongst the hills of the Yorkshire Dales and within easy access of the Lake District.
It is approx. 6mls NE of Sedbergh
on the A683 road to Kirkby Stephen, (G.R. 723983).
Fell End consists of two 18th century buildings; The Schoolhouse and Greenslack. They have been upgraded to provide comfortable bunk-house accommodation for people wishing to explore this beautiful and remote area, overlooking the unspoilt splendour of the Howgill Fells.
Fell End is ideal for mixed groups or families, including people with disabilities. Walking, cycling, canoeing or caving are nearby and the Lake District is only 20 miles away - or just come and chill!

Cost: £11.00 + VAT per person, per night (= £13.20 pp,pn) (no charge for children 4 years and under)

As you will have exclusive use of the Fell End complex, there is a minimum charge of:
6 people per night if booking Schoolhouse only
8 people per night if booking Schoolhouse and Greenslack
12 people if booking 1 night only

(please let us know if your group is fewer than 8 people but require Greenslack for the specialised facilities).

Sleeping facilities: total capacity is 14 beds.

Schoolhouse: 4 bunks in the central living area plus 1 single bed in an adjoining room.

Greenslack: 5 people in one room (2 bunks, 1 single bed). Greenslack is suitable for people with mobility problems.

Access: both buildings are accessed via a touch-lock system; code numbers will be given on confirmation of your booking.

Rubbish: a wheelie bin is provided for general rubbish but please take away all your recycling of cans/bottles.

Telephone: there is no telephone at Fell End. Reception can be poor for mobiles; Orange works well. The nearest public telephone is within 1½ kilometres.

Dogs: dogs are welcome if the following guidelines are observed: Not allowed on the beds/sofas, all dog ‘mess’ is cleared up, keep dogs on a lead outside as sheep graze freely nearby.
