Firefly Cottage is my home and I am getting it ready to let part of it out as a 'Dogs Welcome' holiday cottage. The first cottage ready will be Serenity Cottage - a small, single bedroom cottage for 2 people and their dogs.

The cottage is located in LEADHILLS, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.
Facebook insists that it is in Biggar, and that Biggar is in Fife (it isn't - it's 20 miles away from Leadhills).The map provided says it is in Arkansas, USA. So ignore the map!

Leadhills, one of the two highest villages in Scotland, is a great base from which to explore Central and Southern Scotland. It's 1 hour from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Gretna and Ayr. Within half an hour you can reach the tourist town of Moffat, the woodland haven of Drumlanrig Castle, or the larger towns of Hamilton and Motherwell. Lowther Hill, one of Scotland's Camerons, is within easy reach, and it is half a mile from The Southern Upland Way.
