Foxton Canal Museum - 0116 2792 657

The museum is run by the Foxton Inclined Plane Trust, it is run by Volunteers with the help of a professional curator. the museum tells the story of the Foxton Inclined Plane Boat lift, Foxton Locks and the canals that they serve.

All things Canal And Foxton are of interest to us. The inclined plane features heavily, but the waterways around us are over 200 years old, a lot has happened in those years. Visit our archives for Family History. have a great day out, then let us know.
We don't get funding from the government or from local councils, so we rely on Volunteers and generous visitors to keep going.
