The Friends of Jarrow Cross is a non-profit group run by volunteers to support parents, children and staff at Jarrow Cross Church of England Primary School

We hold regular fundraising events and buy equipment and other useful items for the benefit of all our children. Our AGM is held in September each year. We support our parents, children and staff in a variety of different ways. We warmly welcome new members and love to hear new ideas. We sell good quality outgrown uniform for 50p per item (Coats £1.50) and hold regular lost property events.

We have a Saturday small business post for our parents to promote their small businesses. Do you run your own small business?

We want to help support all our parents who run small businesses, by promoting your pages/details on our Facebook page and in our monthly newsletter.

The only rules are that you need to be a parent/carer who's child currently attends Jarrow Cross C of E Primary School, or are actively involved in Jarrow Cross school or this Friends Group. AND, that you only share your posts once a week - every Saturday. Please feel free to post on our page (rather than commend on this post), let us know all about your business and the link to your page.

We will share all your details in our monthly newsletter which is distributed to all of our families.

It would be great if we could all like these local small business pages and spread the word about their fab services/products.

Our monthly newsletters detail all of our events and are brought home by all of our children. Copies are put up in the school windows and on the new school website and our Facebook page
